Second edition, three volumes, a few minor thumb marks but overall a bright, clean and tight set in the original publishers purple grained cloth bindings. Pale gree coated endpapers.  Some motting to the cloth on the spines but the gilt still bright and vibrant.  Tight and firm, issued in the sane format as the first English edition, which was published the same year and is the only London issue to be published in 1862. Clear dust jackets.
