The debut studio album by Cockney Rebel, which was released by EMI in 1973. They were first coveted by Mickie Most and his RAK label. This attracted EMI who signed them after they’d played just five gigs. They looked like glam rockers but were a sort of clever folk-pop with a violin. They released Sebastian as a single. Brilliant but it did nothing. The session birthed Judy Teen which wasn’t on the album but made #5 in the UK. The album failed to chart but its follow-up The Psychomodo made #8.
